ShowPro has the ability to print prize checks in a number of different ways...
A check register is provided that gives you the ability to view and manipulate the data and perform functions such as reconciling. You can print the check register and also export it to Excel, CSV, QIF, and IIF format. These files can be imported into programs such as Quicken®, QuckBooks®, Peachtree®, or Microsoft Money®. ShowPro also allows you to define a chart of accounts and assign classes to your shows, this enables you to import your checks into QuickBooks® and do cost accounting. |
As checks are printed they automatically are recorded to this register. Detailed information about each check is provided at the bottom. In this particular case the entire entry, #625, was combined into one check. Prize checks can be printed in a couple different ways and in a couple different places in order to maximize the convienience and flexibility for the user. On the Classes Screen there is a Prize Checks tab where checks can be printed in large batches... |

Notice that a couple checks above were printed to "Cash". To avoid this always designate a prize money recipient on the Entry Screen by checking the Prize Money check box for one of the people on the entry. |

You can print checks individually for the selected class by clicking Print This Class. You can print checks for many classes as individual checks by clicking Print Multiple Classes. The dialog box to the left will be displayed and you can click and drag or Ctrl/click to select as many classes as you like. You can also print check combined on a per entry basis by clicking Print Combined Per Entry. A dialog very similar to the one to the left will appear allowing you to select the entries to print. |
You can also print prize checks from the individual entry by clicking the Prize Checks tab...
Here again you have the option to print the checks individually or combine the prize money onto one check.
